Reliable Tire Company, LLC (“Reliable Tire,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of its employees, contacts, and customers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information, including mobile phone numbers used with our internal fleet management system and text message (SMS) program, and accounting information accessed through our integration with QuickBooks Online.
This policy applies to information we collect from our employees, from individuals designated by employees as emergency contacts, and from customers who provide information to us or whose information appears in our accounting records. Our text message program and our mobile fleet management application are used for internal operational and safety purposes and are not consumer-facing services. Our QuickBooks Online integration accesses only Reliable Tire’s own accounting records.
Our internal mobile fleet management application connects to Reliable Tire’s QuickBooks Online company through Intuit’s authorized OAuth 2.0 authentication process. The application reads customer and project records from QuickBooks Online and creates new customer and project records when authorized employees perform that action in the field. We do not share QuickBooks Online data with parties outside of Reliable Tire, and we do not use it for any purpose other than supporting our own accounting and field operations.
Access to QuickBooks Online data through the application is restricted to authorized employees of Reliable Tire who have been individually provisioned with credentials. Access tokens and refresh tokens are stored in encrypted form using industry-standard secret management infrastructure provided by our cloud hosting platform.
An authorized administrator of the Reliable Tire QuickBooks Online company may disconnect the application at any time by visiting the Apps section of QuickBooks Online and choosing to disconnect, or by contacting us using the information below. We send text messages only to a limited, fixed list of authorized recipients: company managers and employees’ designated emergency contacts. These messages are operational and safety-related only. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
Recipients provide consent to receive these messages in writing during employment onboarding or at the time they are designated as an emergency contact. Message frequency varies based on operational and safety events. Standard message and data rates may apply. Recipients may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, after which no further messages will be sent except as required to confirm the opt-out. Recipients may reply HELP for assistance or contact the company using the information below.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. We do not share QuickBooks Online customer information with any party outside of Reliable Tire. We may share information with service providers who help us operate our systems (such as our messaging, software, and cloud hosting providers) solely to provide those services to us, and as required by law.
We retain personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy and as required by law. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, including encrypted storage of authentication credentials, restricted access to production systems, and structured logging to support security review and incident response.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above indicates when this policy was last revised.
